BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Guangdong Verbund site project would be BASF's largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completionwould be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. The site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide,will be built into a role model for smart manufacturingsustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologiesapplying the highest safety standards.
The new smart Verbund site will include a steam cracker with a capacity of 1 million metric tons of ethylene per yeardownstream plants for consumer-oriented products. By understanding the business requirementsby using an agile approach, you create software solutions for the vertical integration between the ERPthe basic automation system based on state-of-the-art technical solutions, frameworks,software architectures.
You are responsible cradle to grave, i.e. for the requirements analysisspecification, for systemintegration testing, up to the commissioning of solutions in our ZhangJiang production facilities as well as for ongoing maintenancesupport.
During development processessystem architecture planning, you work together closely with internal customers, specialist departmentsexternal suppliers in the context of global projects
What we expect you (Required Qualificationsexperience).
.You have successfully completed your studies in computer science, information technologybusiness informaticsalready have gathered working experience in software developmentdesign.
Sound experienceknowledge of modern programming environmentsframeworksevent-driven & service-oriented architectures.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET (Visual Studio, C#, WebAPI, WPF, etc.)databases.
Advanced knowledge of creatinguting software teststheir documentation, as well as experience in test automation.
Fluent in English, strong teamworkcommunication skills, self-confidence appearance,initiative, as well as analytical thinkinga structured way of working. German language skills would be nice to have.
